Our History
Early Literacy Development Agency (ELDA) was founded to address the growing need for strong, evidence=based literacy support for young learners. ELDA began with a simple but powerful goal: to help children build strong reading foundations while empowering families to support learning at home. What started as individualized tutoring quickly expanded into small-group literacy cohorts, family workshops, and community-based programs as the demand for effective reading intervention grew. Grounded in the science of reading and informed by real classroom experience, ELDA developed programs that intentionally close literacy gaps and support students at every stage of their reading journey. Today, ELDA serves families, schools, and communities through tutoring services, literacy programs, educational resources, and community outreach-continuing its mission to strengthen literacy and create lasting academic success.
